The EJ255 engine runs and drives but the turbo is damaged and smokes when running. The oil was low and dirty when drained. After removal, a cylinder leak-down test was done, showing high numbers on all cylinders. The engine will be torn down for parts The vehicle is equipped with a 5-speed automatic transmission, which shifts smoothly, and all transmission and differential fluids were clean upon draining.
The body has minor dings and scuffs but some panels remain in good condition. The front bumper, headlights, grille, fenders, and hood are in good shape. The driver side doors are in good condition, The passenger side doors have damage and will be torn down for parts. Both taillights are in good condition. The rear bumper has some paint damage on the passenger side but is in good condition otherwise. The hatch assembly has damage and will be disassembled for parts as well.
This Subaru Outback XT is equipped with OEM 17″ 5-spoke wheels, all of which are in good condition with no bends or cracks. However, they do have minor curb rash. The tires are 225/55/17 Michelin Assurance A/S that have 9/32nds left on the tread with even wear across the tires.
